What does “PickYourCraft” stands for ?
Pick Your Craft is a brand which believes in valuing, respecting and supporting artisans who make perfect handcrafted products. We want to value add to the artisan’s work by creating innovative products which will be an asset to every home. Every craft we will design will be unique, contemporary and sought after product.
Who is the owner of the brand “PickYourCraft” ?
“Pick Your Craft” is a private brand of Pick Your Craft and it is the sole owner of www.pickyourcraft.in and www.pickyourcraft.com
How is the product made?
Most of our products are made by with our hands and are made from natural products. So the products we sell are unique and are made only one piece at a time.
Who makes our products?
Our products are made by local expert artisans who have preserved the art form over the generations. We do combine their expertise along with our innovative product idea to make the product unique
How do you maintain wooden products?
The shine of wood may go off with time. But proper care of wood will make sure the shine lasts longer. Just use coconut, sunflower or olive oil to rub the surface and you will get the perfect shine always. Do not rub with Kerosine/petrol as it may wipe out the top layer of coating if any
How do you maintain ceramic products?
Clean up loose dust by using a soft cloth or vacuum clean regularly to keep them from getting dull. It can be cleaned by rubbing mild detergent and cleaning with water. Always dry with a soft cloth. In case of any stain, rubbing the surface mildly with baking soda and water may remove the stain
Can soap be used to clean ceramic products?
Surely mild liquid soap can be used to wipe the surface by a soft cloth. It is advised not to use pointed edges or scratch with nails while cleaning the surface
Is it microwave safe?
Yes it is safe to cook, bake in the microwave in ceramic products
How do you maintain Dokra products?
Clean up loose dust by using a soft, clean cotton cloth like a handkerchief or vacuum clean regularly to keep them from getting dull. The cloth must be not fibrous as that can get stuck on the metal. For the crevices, you can clean gently with a soft toothbrush or paintbrush. The dark green tinge may occur due to excess exposure to atmospheric moisture or humidity but that also looks natural. It can be removed by metal cleaners like “Brasso” or naturally by tamarind
How do you maintain Batik products?
Clean up loose dust by using a soft, clean cotton cloth like a handkerchief or vacuum clean regularly. Batik fabrics can also be cleaned in cold water with similar colours by hand, using gentle liquid detergent only. A batik design may require one or two additional cold rinses to remove excess dye from the fabric.
How do you maintain Terracotta products?
Clean up loose dust by using a soft, clean cotton cloth like a handkerchief or vacuum clean regularly. Do not use too much of water and always dry completely before reusing. Sometimes you may dry it on direct sunlight. Coconut oil can be used to keep the product shining
Is terracotta, ceramic delicate products?
Of course it is. Any product which we use, will lasts longer only if we take adequate care of the same. But do not worry, we will ensure that any product which is broken at your home, gets replaced by a better unique product
Can terracotta products catch fungus?
It is very common in rainy season. You can put the product on direct sunlight sometimes. Please follow maintenance instructions given above or with the product
How do you maintain Terracotta tiles?
We will advise you not to use any acids, vinegar, ammonia solutions on Terracotta tiles. It can dull the glazed surfaces. Clean the tile with mild liquid cleaner or steam cleaner and some water using a micro-fibre cloth. Dry the surface with micro-fibre cloth. Regular vacuum cleaning is also recommended.
What happens if we get a broken or damaged product?
If you receive a damaged product, just inform us within 24 hrs of receiving the product. All our products are packed under camera monitoring. We will replace the same as soon as possible if it does not violate the return policy.
What about retuning the product you may not like?
We do take returns if you do not like the product. Check out our return policy to know more.
Can you get your products gift wrapped?
All our products will be packed in good quality boxes. Currently we do not do any gift wrapping. Please call us for any special instruction you want us to follow. We will try to fulfill you request to the best possible way.
How do we pack our products?
We bubble-wrap our products and pack then with right cushions. The boxes are also uniquely crafted and designed for you.
How much time is required to ship my product?
We will try to ship as fast as possible but of course it depends on availability of rightly crafted product and where you stay.
Can I recommend some designs or customize the product?
Of course you can. Please upload a picture and write the description amd send details to our customer care email pckyurcaft@gmail.com. We will be happy to fulfil your demand. It may take some more time or may have a different price, but we will inform you beforehand.
Can there be variation in what is shown in website and actual product received?
There can be slight variation is colour, size and look as these are all uniquely hand-made. The artisans make the pieces with extreme care and they are expert in producing the same piece again and again. But since the products are hand made and not machine made, there can be variations sometimes. We try to ensure zero variation but the same cannot be assured.
Can I return/replace Ceramic Products if i donot like it?
Your purchase is eligible for return or replacement only if it meets the following conditions:

If an incorrect product was delivered to you, i.e. the product does not match the item description mentioned on the website or wrong product is delivered.

If the product you receive has a genuine quality or manufacturing defect or damage.
All our products are handmade by experienced artisans, one piece at a time, making each piece unique. As each piece is handmade and not manufactured in machine, a slight variation in colour tone, shape or size may occur between products which is not regarded as a defect and will not be eligible for return or replacement.
If your purchase meets our return criteria as stated above, please email us at care@pickyourcraft.in within 24 hours of delivery with the following information:
- Order number
- Delivery address
- Specify the reason for the return, and in case of defective or incorrect product, please send us an image of the item at

Unfortunately, we will not be able to consider any emails or images sent after 24 hrs of the delivery.
If there is a genuine defect in the product, we will be happy to exchange your product with a replacement or a different product of the same value or refund your order amount within 7-10 working days after the product is picked up from the given address.
Under certain circumstances, if we are unable to provide you with replacement against your ordered product, then we will notify you, and thereafter will process your refund, a credit of the paid amount will reflect in the original mode of payment within 7-10 business days. In case of COD (Cash on Delivery) order, the refund will be made only in the form of credit coupon of the same value. Our products are unique and handmade hence may be available as single piece.
If you find that the package has been tampered, please do not accept the item and handover the package back to the delivery person before signing the POD(Proof of Delivery).
Missing Product inside the packing box delivered by courier
For any missing product inside the box that was delivered to the customer by a courier person, the customer needs to open the packing box under the camera and take out the product from the packing box. The empty packing box needs to be shown to the camera to ascertain that the box is empty. In case of any missing product, the customer will inform us within 24 hrs of receiving the product. All our products are packed under camera monitoring. We will replace the same if we see that the missing complaint is genuine and the customer has shared the necessary recording requirements. Please email us at pckyurcaft@gmail.com to initiate the missing product complaint. The following needs to be mentioned in the mail within 24 hours of receiving the product.
